Our guestbook
This hotel has the best location, quiet & tranquil right
on the Nam khan river. On their terrace you can read a
book ,sip a glass of wine and enjoy the views. Rooms are
very cozy and well decorated.
The manager and the staff are so friendly and helpful
and they all speak good english. They can arrange
excursions for you , anything you need. This is the 3rd
time I stay here and I will come back.

My stay in Luang Prabang was the highlight of my trip
and the great stay at Villa Deux Rivieres Hotel were a
part of this. The room was clean and well presented, the
wooden shutters were a perfect finishing touch. The
breakfast menu was wonderful and the pain au chocolate
the best I've ever had. The staff were great, arranging
airport collection and drop-off, booking a domestic
flight, confirming a booking for a day trip. Would stay
here again. Amanda D, Australia

The hotel is located in a quiet area no too far
from the center of town. Most restaurants, cafes and
shops is just a short walk away. They had friendly,
helpful staff. We were pleasantly surprised to see a
note slipped through our door with weather information
for the following day -- an added service that is truly
appreciated. Moreover, they accommodated our request for
a 4pm check out as the room was free that day. Excellent
service level. Jeniffer S,

My stay at Luang Prabang has definitely been made
more memorable with the stay at Villa Deux Rivière . I
would highly recommend Luang Prabang to everyone looking
for a break away from the city and Villa Deux Rivière is
an excellent accommodation choice.

"the touch of peaceful, the beautiful of Luangprabang."
After a long walk searching for a hotel in mind
under the hot sun of April, we stopped at Villa
deux Rivieres for a drink (The umbrellas at the
front drag me in 555). We didn't book a hotel in
advance coz we wanna make sure the hotel we get
is just right. Sort of not trust the pictures on
the internet. The atmosphere as well as the
river view in front of the hotel make us decide
to see the rooms. The manager showed all the
room types and finally we fell in love the room
at the very front which was very cozy and
private (rm #6 if anyone wanna try. Thanks god,
no more walking and searching.) We have got our
own outdoor seats which can relax during late
afternoon enjoy drinking and watching great
views of the river and temple. The manager also
told us that in front of the hotel is the
starting point of the traditional boat racing.
(may be joining the event next time we come).
Best thing to us is the hotel is located in a
residential area. We still get a chance to see a
daily life of Luangprabang's people which is
quite unique. Close to the hotel is the main
street which full with restuarants and shops.
Just 5 mins walk which is ok to us. I Think,
this is a perfect hotel for someone who wanna
recharge yourself and doesn't like to stay in
the middle of the city.

"Uniquely designed lobby and rooms in a cozy
atmosphere on a great location, top"
We got this cozy place recommended by
friends. Recently opened, nice design, great
variety of rooms (thanks for the tour Chris).
Interior designer did an excellent job, rooms
with good atmosphere, nice materials, good big
bed, AC, huge TV, "colonial styled" bathroom.
Combine this with plus++ staff and you have a
winner. Walk 50 meters and you can cross a
bamboo bridge to the other side of the Nam Khan
river which floods in the Mekong river. What a
stunning view. I made my best video shot there.
And there's much more to see. To bad we could
stay only 2 nights, but we'll be back. Au revoir,
and we will book again.
"Brand new hotel with
beautifully stylished, spacious rooms in quiet
area verlooking the Nam Khan river."
We stayed 5 nights in this brand new
hotel, built and managed by Dutch people. The
location is away from the main road, overlooking
the Nam Khan river and on walking distance from
the centre. The rooms are very spacious,
beautifully laid out and nicely decorated with
touch for detail. The beds are large and very
comfortable with tastefully chosen furniture. On
the balcony there are comfortable wooden chairs.
Everywhere it is spotless clean. The staff is
very friendly (Lao hospitality) and helpful.
Being Dutch, we felt straight away at home; it
is for sure a place to come back. Apr 24,

"Attractive New
Hotel, Attractive Location"
This brand new boutique hotel has a quiet
location along a river. There is a bar with
outdoor tables- a touch of Europe in Laos! The
owner and manager are Dutch and are friendly and
helpful. At the moment (2010) the hotel does not
serve breakfast but they include a complementary
breakfast at an excellent French bakery nearby.
The rooms are all brand new. Ours had a large,
shower, was at the front of the hotel and had a
balcony overlooking the river.
